It’s not all the time that you hear that advertising mixes up with astronomy, but this time Corona teamed up with agency Cramer-Krasselt to mix the two up with an innovative and original billboard in New York city.
Working with top universities, planetariums and astronomers, Corona’s Luna Corona billboard was installed so that it can precisely align with a crescent moon, with the end result being the moon itself looking like a lime wedge resting on a Corona bottle. The ‘phenomena’ could only be seen twice – the first time last month and the second on the 14th and 15th of June. Still, the limited view makes the campaign even more special, adding a mysterious and ‘limited edition’ touch to it. Check out the video below for more info on how it was made and how it worked:
