Finland Adds Some Fun to Its Passports

Why not add a little fun to a government document?

Instead of the usual images used in passports, Finland used a more creative approach when designing their own. Namely, Finnish passports now feature a moose on the corner of each page; When the pages are flipped through, the moose becomes animated and walks, resembling a good, old-fashioned flipbook.

Even though it is a small and irrelevant feature, it changes the whole perspective of passports as such, while adding a dose of fun to them. Nonetheless, it also ads more warmth to Finland’s identity, pointing out that the little things always count.

The passport supposedly features other animals from Finland and embossed snowflakes on the back cover as well.
