The Curiosity Rover certainly still causes admiration throughout the world, but it also serves as an interesting theme for advertising: For instance, back in August last year, Oreo has used the revolutionary rover’s landing in its Daily Twist Project, by cleverly making a red cookie with two wheel marks on it. Recently, LEGO used the Mars-theme to create a clever visual regarding the rover too; It features a little LEGO man leaving his LEGO-shaped steps in the red ground of the exciting planet, referring that “creativity is going beyond reality with LEGO”.
The visual was primarily posted on LEGO’s Facebook page and has, not surprisingly, gone pretty much viral with 14,000 likes and 1,500 shares within a few hours. It was made by Grey Paris creative agency.
