Call me old fashioned or a fan boy, but I would die if I found a good old postcard from BMW in my mailbox. Well, anyone would when they would see the way BMW created their direct mail campaign with the M6.
Every postcard is unique and printed using the M6. Now, I’m not talking about an artsy project or something similar like ABSOLUTE Vodka’s ultimate limited edition, no – this is a man’s project. Raw engine power and ink on the tires of a BMW M6 going 100km/h over postcards with Chief Driving Instructor of the BMW Performance Driving School Matt Mullins behind the wheel! This fantastic idea was brought to life by the creative minds at Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners and the engineers at Classic Color. The postcards were sent to M owners and were a part of BMW’s catalogs. I can only imagine the M owner’s reaction when they saw their postcard in the mail, and the video on YouTube later.
