Bertrum Thumbcat Strikes Again in New Cravendale Spot by

The cutest evil mascot ever, Bertrum Thumbcat – a cat with thumbs - strikes again in Cravendale’s new spot called Catnapped from Wieden + Kennedy London. The ingeniously absurd idea of cats with thumbs continues, and I hope it won’t stop anytime soon.

The Catnapped one-minute video follows the Cats With Thumbs video from 2011 and culminates to an actual army of evil cats (the so called Thumb regime), led by Bertrum himself. The evil feline army seeks world domination by brainwashing all the milkmen and stealing all the milk, while the spot ends with the catchphrase “Not on our watch, pussays!” and the invitation to visit the brand’s social media channels, including Bertrum’s witty Facebook page.

Below are the new spot and the old spot after it – a reminder of how the story of cats with thumbs began:

As a YouTube commenter said, “I will never look at a cat the same way again”.
