One of the most popular Disney characters and certainly one of the most stylish – Minnie Mouse, will celebrate her distinctive style once again. Minnie was a part of our growing up and Disney’s fashion icon since her first appearance as Mickey Mouse’s sweetheart in 1928. Although a lot of time has passed she’s not forgotten. This September The Walt Disney Company will celebrate her unique style and appearance with their latest fashion campaign and make Minnie the “must have” fashion trend. This is certainly one of the moments that makes fashion fun, adapting our childhood to mature fashion sense.

“Minnie Mouse and her unique style continue to inspire fans across the world. We’re thrilled to collaborate with such visionaries to create these one-off designs. Surpassing trends, Minnie Mouse’s iconic silhouette, signature bows and polka dots always remain in style which is why she is as relevant today as the day she first appeared on the fashion scene”, commented Marc Low, vice president of Fashion and Home for The Walt Disney Company EMEA. “London Fashion Week is the perfect stage for Disney, one of the world’s largest apparel brands, to put a spotlight on Minnie Mouse.”

International designers such as Richard Nicoll, Katie Hillier, Giles Deacon, Terry de Havilland and many others will make her signature bows and polka dots stylish once again for the Minnie Mouse Must Haves collection. Minnie will be treated as a real fashion icon on the coming London Fashion Week where this collection will be presented to all international buyers and media with following attention of influential bloggers. Every ‘Minnie Mouse Must Haves’ item will be available at an exclusive auction on eBay for a charity program, while all raised money will be donated by Disney to support the BFC/Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation.
