Kiefer Sutherland is back in his most famous role of Jack Bauer of the TV series “24″. This time he was hired by agency Mother for Acer’s ad “Bake It” in which he finds his true self – in baking cupcakes. “We don’t mean to sound gushy but we think this computer might just change your life. See what it did for Kiefer Sutherland” is what Acer says about their newest laptop the Aspire S5 Ultrabook. The campaign launched today in the UK, Germany, France and Russia and it includes cinema, TV and print.

“At Acer we’re interested in what people do with the technology we develop. The S5 Ultrabook is the first of many products that will help our users explore a different side of themselves, for Kiefer that was cupcake baking but over the coming year we’ll create more stories of characters exploring beyond their limits” said Martin Schellekens, global marketing director at Acer.

This ad is so good and funny I can’t wait for more interesting stories to appear about the life changing capabilities of the S5 Ultrabook. They will all appear on the Acer website which is all set up for this campaign.

The ad campaign was created by Mother and directed by Ivan Zacharias, with producer Nick Landon and production company Stink.
