Jack Daniel’s has released a new limited edition bottle that celebrates almost 100 years since the brand won two gold medals for its high standards in London in 1914 and 1915 - one for the quality and excellence of Jack’s time-honored charcoal mellowing process, and the other for the distinctively smooth taste of the Tennessee whiskey. The limited edition bottle comes in a tri-fold gift box that contains a 1 liter bottle of Jack Daniels Old No.7 ‘Gold Medal’ bourbon and two commemorative glasses.

The limited edition gift box will be available in free shops in Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airport.

It’s interesting that Jack Daniel’s decided to launch this commemorative limited edition gift box in London while the whole Olympic craze is active. Can the connection with the medal of both the limited edition drink and the Olympics boost the sales of the drink? Somehow I think that both the launch and the games coincided nicely for Jack Daniel’s, even though I know that I would buy this beautiful gift box anytime, anywhere.
