Celebrating female athletes on Title IX’s 40th anniversary, Nike has decided to encourage once again using its society and social impact. Showing respect for the female engagement in sport, the brand has released a new video entitled Voices, created by advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy.

The Education Amendments which provide sports achievements for both genders has created legendary female athletes. Some of them are actually part of the Voices, such as legendary distance runner Joan Benoit Samuelson, Lisa Leslie (four-time gold medalist), with USA Boxing’s 6-time national champion Marlen Esparza and Diana Taurasi (two-time gold medalist). These amazing women have broke all the barriers of society and became inspiration for all the next generations of female athletes and champions.

This is one of the motivational videos that’s actually amusing to watch. I think that reducing of the characters and voices from the different generations and sport field somehow makes the story more significant and influential. All your opinions about the video and its concept and story, and inspiring thoughts, you can share on Nike Women Facebook and join the conversation on Twitter via #MAKETHERULES.
