By becoming the new creative director of Diet Coke for 2012, Jean Paul Gaultier just launched a new set of bottles with his authentic signature all over it. It’s just a “must have” fashion. The first thing that comes to mind when you think of Gaultier are sailor stripes and Madonna’s iconic con bra, so this is exactly what makes this bottle of Diet Coke so glamorous and fashionable. The limited edition of bottles are just a part of Gaultier’s 2012 plans for Diet Coke. A bunch of new and creative projects, including the creation of new advertising campaigns and his personal appearance in a series of humorous short films are about to be released later this year.

This stylish Coke edition features the theme “Night & Day” and it fits perfectly with Gaultier’s recognizable aesthetic. For the “Night“ edition, the designer has decided to go glamorous with “sexy Rock Chick edge” for his iconic corset style and make Diet Coke bottle sexier like never before. On the other side we have my favorite one – the casual and romantic Gaultier’s signature for the “Day theme which is actually more of a designer’s self-portrait with his Breton stripe trademark.

As a part of this fashion campaign, Diet Coke has also presented the 11-second spot with the tagline “Love It Light” – check it out:

The bottles will be available from April 16 in Harvey Nichols stores nationwide, while the third one will be launched later this year. The last exclusive bottle named “Tattoo”, will show the designer’s love for the body art by managing to fit it perfectly in a concept bottle collection.
