‘Three Artists. One Song’ initiative by Converse continues to promote their new set of sneakers. The previous Gorillaz-styled sneakers went pretty well, so Converse decided to include more artists in campaign.
Ladies and Gentleman, Converse presents you three brand new artists: Mark Foster of the Foster The People band (applause, screaming, bra throwing etc.), followed by rising star Kimbra (yeeee), and last, but not least DJ A-Trak (wooohoooo). Together, they created a track called ‘Warriors’ that was recorded in Converse’s new studio in Brooklyn, NY.
The Converse’s spring footwear collection will be available only at Journeys stores across the US. A free download of song and video will be also available on April the 5th here. The collection was designed by Chuck Taylor, and it will contain lots of vibrant colours and prints.
Joy Howard, Vice President of North America Brand Marketing of Converse says: “Converse is in its seventh Three Artists. One Song series, and with each new collaboration we’re continually blown away by how talented these artists are when they come together to express themselves,” he also added: “Mark Foster, Kimbra, and A-Trak are making some of the most exciting music out there today and we’re thrilled that our partnership with Journeys could be the catalyst for bringing them together.”
Converse proclaimed ‘Warrior’ as “a new genre-bending collaboration that weaves together Mark Foster, Kimbra and A-Trak’s individual musical styles to create 4 minutes of pop perfection”.
