British sweets brand Mr Kipling has launched an interesting campaign in order to promote its new cake-to-go product. The core idea is to provide an opportunity for customers to experience the product only by pressing a button. The automatic fixtures will be placed into bus shelters in order to distribute 500 free cakes a day throughout England and Scotland. Like all of this isn’t exciting enough, one bus shelter on London’s Tottenham Court Road will be providing the aroma of cake too.
In the UK market, outdoor advertising is getting more and more interesting, and it’s getting harder for brands to make up a memorable and original idea. Dispensing the product for free while advertising is definitely a great chance to be remembered – and surely everybody will be tempted to try the cake-to-go!
