Today, Benetton has announced its updated range of apps for the new generation of tablets and smartphones. The apps will be launched as an accompaniment to the latest Benetton Spring/Summer 2012 collections for each of their brand: United Colors of BenettonSisley and Playlife. Benetton has the privilege to be one of the few companies with a dedicated iPad app for corporate communication. Benetton Group has for its goals to achieve communication with its consumers using the digital world, new media and the potential of the mobile world, and with this in mind, it has officially announced the launching of its apps for iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry and, soon, Windows 7.

“Benetton Group integrates its content with high-tech tools to leverage the identity, lifestyles, experiences and relationships of young (and not only young) people around the world. Sharing your favourite look, having access to a long playlist of music tracks, always knowing where to buy the clothes in the new collections and being constantly updated with the latest news: the United Colors of Benetton, Sisley and Playlife apps offer all this and more.”

Benetton is embracing new media in order to make the distinctive, powerful brand with reliable products, but all with a strong interaction with customers as the main component. The previous Benetton’s UNHATE campaign was a brand’s big success that achieved the main goal – a global interaction with more than 500 million contacts and 60% more Facebook fans.
