Connecting with its followers on a personal level is what every brand wants to achieve, and that’s what The Points of No Return app from Lexus is for.

Inspired by the expected Facebook timeline for brands, Lexus launched an  app that looks like Lexus’ timeline.

The app uses Open graph, so it connects to a wider audience not just Lexus’ dedicated fans, and it shows historic moments from when the GS 2008 was revealed to the all new GS 2013 (which will be arriving in showrooms in February 2012) and in between are also other big moments in social media, technology and design.

On these historic moments you can click “Remember”, “Want” and “Own” and the interactions will be posted as stories on your wall.

Brian Smith, Lexus vice president of marketing said “We developed this application to empower Lexus fans to engage with the brand in a new way, leveraging Open Graph features to enhance user experience, we’re not waiting for the future. It’s all about innovating, including a ‘sneak peek’ of exciting things to come on Lexus’ Facebook page.”
