General Motors Research and Development has prepared surprise for its custumers. The opportunity to conceptualize car windows application for back seat passengers has been given to the students of Bezalel Academy of Modern Art and Design in Israel. I am sure that all of us, as kids, used to draw on a glass of a car window. It was fun, and all we needed was a cold weather. Nowdays, kids have something new to experience.

The aim of GM’s new Windows of Opportunity project was to enable driving experience to be more exciting, at least for back seat passengers, through different applications . Every window application has got interesting name. For instance, the Pond app allows passengers to share media content with other cars, as well as, to download and send messages. Furthermore, Foofu, which simulates drawing in steam on a window. While you are experiencing Otto app, that includes animated character projected over passing scenery, responding to the vehicle movement and speed, The Spindow app gives you opportunity to peek into other users’ window around the world, to see what they are drawing.

GM has found great way to build a firm relationship between their users and their environments. Definitely, kids will be trilled, but I am no sure for the parents, with idea of  kids drowing on their car windows with expensive tech.
