What better way to promote a furniture company then to make a fully furnished 54 square-meter home for six people to live in, in the middle of a Parisian metro? IKEA tried this idea out, and I think it’s working out really well:
‘The apartment’ was made by agency Ubi Bene, and six people will actually live in it From 9 to 14 January 2012, in Auber metro, Paris. It’s supposed to show how small spaces can be optimized and comfortable, which it certainly does. In the middle of a metro. With hundreds of people passing by.
What more to say, really? Brilliant idea which reflects the brands qualities (IKEA’s space-saving solutions) – a great marketing move and an interesting and fun attraction, settled in a prime location, which will bee seen and noted by hundreds of people.
