Virgin Money Debuts, Ad Shows Brand’s Rich History by Dorian Cioban

Having acquired the Northern Rock bank for the impressive sum of over $1 billion, the corporate monster Virgin is slowly re-branding it under the name of Virgin Money, staring with an ad based on Virgin‘s rich brand history of ‘making things better’:

With the bold tagline ’40 Years of Better’, the tv commercial shows every aspect of Virgin available starting from records, space and down to trains. The ad shows that Virgin knows what is doing and that they have the necessary skills to jump onto the banking system bandwagon with Virgin Money.

“We’ve come a long long way over the last 40 years with the simple aim of making things better. And now our quest takes us into banking. Virgin Money, 40 years of better now in a bank,” states the narrator in the 90-second commercial.
