‘Snickers Bikers’ With Mickey Rourke by Dorian Cioban

BBDO Moscow came up with a funny TV commercial for Snickers chocolate bar featuring the famous hollywood actor Mickey Rourke. The commercial is a continuation of series of TV commercials for the Russian region featuring ‘transformations’ of celebrities, the first guest star being the famous Russian ballet dancer Anastasia Volochkova.

The video shows Mickey Rourke walking out of a gas station, sitting on his bike and as he fails to start it, he gets angry. His pals try to comfort him by giving him a Snickers bar and *poof* he magically turns into another actor, and they all hapily ride off onto the open road. The tagline of the video briefly appears and translates as: “No brakes. Snickers.”

I think that lately Mickey Rourke is filming anything his manager brings on the table. To me, this ad doesn’t spark that Snickers awesomness at all. Sorry BBDO, better luck next time.
