The French high fashion house Hermès has presented its project in collaboration with Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, called Hermes + Shigeru Ban Pavilion”. It’s a part of recent Design Tide exhibition in Tokyo mid-Town.

It’s a minimalistic and eco-friendly design, created entirely out of paper. Exactly that’s Ban’s recognizable signature. The interesting thing about its structure is that it can be taken apart and reassembled. Ban is using existing materials differently, always with eco-awareness.This architectural project is related to Hermès line of home products. I really like that Shigeru Ban arranged the interior design and furniture objects within the house structure, making it available for all visitors to walk free around and feel at home.
