The freshest news from smartphone industry has it that LG has delivered its Nitro HD model to AT&T customers. What does this mean for Samsung and Apple?

I won’t bother you with information about LG Nitro HD. This phone is huge, it has a 4.5 inch True HD display, which is one of the top features of this model, an awesome processor – Dual-core 1.5 GHz and it’s a 4G. Key facts are saying that this Android platform is a mean opponent to the Samsung’s Galaxy S2 or Nexus S or Apple’s iPhone 4S. But when it comes to selling phones like this, I think that the position of a brand on the market is more important.

The issue of LG is that they don’t have the same brand awareness like Apple and Samsung. All those phones can make crystal clear HD images and videos, they have a lot of interactivity, they have processors fast as a bullet. But it’s just not the same if you’re having in your pocket super cool iPhone 4S or Galaxy S2. LG Nitro HD can’t compete with the already positioned kings of smart phone industry. It can compete with the technological facts, because with all technological facts LG has produced a mighty mobile machine. The problem is that this machine can’t be recognized from the users who were already decided between Apple or Samsung products.

Maybe LG has some marketing campaign that will blow our minds? I doubt it. Everything that LG has developed with its Nitro HD, Apple and Samsung can do it with their products. Actually, they already did. Both Samsung and LG are running the Android platform, but it doesn’t matter. Samsung did its positioning on the market with “The next big thing is already here” advert. Apple made a Siri app ad. Where was LG then and where is it now?

Super cool features are just one part of the selling on the market in the smart phone industry. Smart brand moves are deciding which product it the number one. The point is that Samsung and Apple are battling for the crown in this moment, not LG.
