North is one of the Fox Restaurant Concept’s ‘Modern Italian Concept’ restaurant chains. North restaurants can be seen in Kansas, Colorado, Texas and – Phoenix, Arizona where a new one recently opened.
“Taking its cue from an Italian trattoria, North offers a fresh new approach to Modern Italian cuisine with sleek interiors, a sexy atmosphere, and a menu offering unique antipasti, gourmet pizzas, inventive pasta dishes and many wood roasted and grilled dishes, NoRTH is the perfect spot for any dining occasion. NoRTH appeals to a variety of guests seeking a casual, hip and upbeat venue with deliciously affordable fare.”
The new restaurant, of course, needed a new identity, and that’s where TunnelBravo stepped in, making these wonderful vintage-looking designs. They used a number of charming, old-looking, Italian-style design elements, and made a custom font on their very own L.C. Smith typewriter.
At the end, like a ‘cherry on top’ they hand-painted the façade, making a funky mural. The whole identity is really beautiful and it perfectly fits the restaurant, making a typical clash of modern vs vintage.
