IBM’s latest invention is really fascinating: it’s a changing color billboard, depending on the color we wear. Actually it sounds really simple, so how that they came up with this now, after all those years?!  This funny billboards are designed by Ogilvy Digital as part of IBM’s “Smarter Planet” campaign that encourages all innovations in technology industry. Billboards are white with funny face profile in the middle, and exactly that face illustration is the one that is changing colors. The whole thing works because of the color detection camera that changes the color of the LED light in color that’s dominating in front of camera.

I think technology doesn’t have to be always useful, it could be just fun, but I wonder what would happen if someone wears too much color or some crazy print, would the the billboard be confusing? If you find that out, please let me know.
