There’s a new commercial for Cadbury chocolate: ‘ Twirl’ bites. For this commercial the visual effects specialists Mattes and Miniatures have made a type of Rube Goldberg machine with spinning structure of propeller, dinosaur with guitar, funny penguins and hippos toys, people miniatures and robots on spinning plates. It’s all magical, colorful and sweet, but still with dominating purple color as hallmark color of this chocolate brand, combined with funny music and sound of toys in the background. At the end there are fireworks that evoke happy chocolate celebration.

This year Cadbury brand has presented with Blippar-powered digital game ‘Quaksmack’  for smartphones, with candy packaging as main object in game, a part of Spots v. Stripes campaign. Your only task is to smack the duck that jumps behind the chocolate bar.

Cadbury’s My Daily Treat marketing manager Jane Furze commented:

‘As this is our first above-the-line UK ad campaign for Twirl for 15 years, we wanted to mark the introduction of Twirl Bites with an uplifting spectacle that also illustrates the magic and creativity that consumers now expect from a Cadbury campaign’.
