Jack Daniel’s Celebrates 161st Birthday With World Record Mosaic by Katrina Radic

In order to celebrate Jack Daniel’s 161st birthday, American artist Herb Williams made a fun installation.
I really like it, it isn’t that original but it’s really cool seeing a portrait of Jack Daniels himself made out of faboulous Jack Daniel’s bottles.
The installation is part of their project of paying a homage to their lucky number 7 by breaking 7 world records in one day. One of these records is this one – world’s largest mosaic made with 2,000 bottles, installed in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

The other six they broke were the largest bottle of Whiskey, the most contributions to a greeting card, the largest gathering of people born in the same month, the most bottles played (for music), the most people blowing candles simultaneously, and the fastest time to build a 20 shot glass pyramid. As pointless as some of these actions seem, they sound fun, and why not celebrate 161 years of fantastic whiskey with playful themes like these, making people once again aware of your brand, and at the same time amusing them and making them a part of the celebration.
