Starbucks’s coffee K-Cup Portion Packs for the Keurig coffee maker will be available in the U. S. from November 2011.
Keurig Single Cup Brewing system is made and sold by Green Mountain Coffee Roaster, Inc. Coffee K-Cup Portion Packs will be in almost every food, drug, club, specialty and department stores just in time for the holidays in U. S. Also the product will be available in Canada in March 2012 and in Starbucks online store in August 2012.

Jeff Hansberry, president of Starbucks Global Consumer Products Group said: “We plan to build Starbucks system-wide sales of K-Cup into a $1 billion business over time.”
The K-Cup Portion Packs will be available in one of Starbucks popular coffee shops: Breakfast Blend, House Blend, Pike Place Roast, French Roast and Sumatra. Tazo tea Zen and Tazo tea Awake will also be server in the K-Cup Portion Packs.
“Starbucks 40 years of expertise in sourcing and roasting the world’s finest coffee beans allows us to deliver the aroma, body, and rich flavor of Starbucks coffee in a K-Cup,” said Hansberry. “Now, coffee lovers will have another way to easily enjoy a perfect cup of Starbucks coffee at home.”
Starbucks stated that growth in coffee industry in the U. S. last year was successful only by selling single-cups of coffee. The growth was nearly 2 billion dollars.
