A few weeks ago we covered Coca-Cola Freestyle; now it seems that the marketing campaign is really taking off - Coca-Cola is presenting a new Freestyle application on Facebook that lets its fans to mix and share their favorite beverages online. This is just the beginning of a larger U.S. campaign that will, as we mentioned before, kick off in 2012.

It’s really easy to use Freestyle, have a look:

The idea behind the app is that users can create their own mix of 125 different Coke beverages with the Coca-Cola app, choosing a mix over 100+ flavors and even personalizing the drink. Then the users can request to bring Freestyle machine to their neighboring area or they can see on a map where the nearest machines are located.

Finally, Coca-Cola will also release iPhone and Android apps will be a classic memory game, for users to easily remember the 100+ drink choices that will eventually grow into a 2D bar code scanning app where users can scan their bar code at a machine, immediately generating the blend. Expect  more of the Freestyle in the months to come, it seems like Coca-Cola is heavily promoting this, so if it will be successful in the U.S., we might see some Coca-Cola Freestyle machines in Europe very soon.
