IKEA has come out on the market with new advertising campaign called “Happy to bed”. The key was to present a bedroom more than just a place where people go to sleep. During “The X Factor” ad breaks, IKEA will air this 60 seconds spot.
Creative agency called Mother created this fabulous campaign. IKEA has invested 2.5 million pounds for redesigning its bedrooms. Company did a research on how people live in their homes, so they decided to go for such a big investment. Those are the facts of one great advertising campaign and that’s the way its done.
Kemi Anthony, advertising manager at IKEA, said: “We want to be the experts in truly understanding peoples’ needs, wants and dreams to help them live a happier life at home. Through our research, we found that the bedroom is one of the most neglected rooms in the home. In the new campaign we want to highlight that IKEA has everything you need to go happy to bed all under one roof and at prices everyone can afford.”
It’s time for bed? No, it’s IKEA’s time. There is no doubt that this is one excellent campaign.
